About Alexander

In the 2024/25 season Alexander will return to Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck for Fenton in Falstaff and Lensky in Eugene Onegin. Last season he sang the role of the Prince in Love for Three Oranges as well as Stravinsky's Les Noces and he gave his debut in The Nose at Bayerische Staatsoper, conducted by Vladimir Jurowski and directed by Kirill Serebrennikov.

Fedorov was educated in Germany in the opera studio at Komische Oper Berlin, and has appeared as a guest at l'Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Graz Opera, George Enescu Festival and the Mariinsky Theatre. Recent highlights include Renard, The Night Before Christmas and Les Noces with the Berlin Philharmonic. On the stage, he recently appeared in Dmitry Tcherniakov's productions of War and Peace at Bayerische Staatsoper and From the House of the Dead at Ruhrtriennale Festival. In the ensemble of the Mariinsky Theatre he has sung the roles of Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Alfredo (La traviata), Belmonte (The Abduction from the Seraglio), Conte Almaviva (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Kai (The Story of Kai and Gerda), and Anatole Kuragin (War and Peace).
