About Jongmin

In the 2023/24 season, Jongmin will perform Beethoven's 9th Symphony at Tanglewood Festival, King Creon in Medée and Pogner in Der Meistersinger at Teatro Real Madrid, the Monk in Don Carlo at Teatro alla Scala, Oroveso in Norma and Sir Giorgio in I Puritani at Seoul Arts Centre, Wagner’s Ring Cycle in Budapest, and Ramfis in Aida at Steinbruch St. Margarethen.

He has performed on the stages of The Metropolitan Opera New York, Teatro alla Scala, Wiener Staatsoper, ROH Covent Garden, Teatro Real Madrid, Berlin Staatsoper, Staatsoper Hamburg, Opéra de Rouen, Opéra national de Lorraine, Bergen National Opera, Salzburger Sommer- and Osterfestspiele, Arena di Verona, Savonlinna Festival, Steinbruch St. Margarethen, Wiener Musikverein, Wigmore Hall London, BBC Proms Royal Albert Hall, Wiener Konzerthaus, Royal Festival Hall London, Rudolfinum Prague, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Müpa Budapest, Suntory Hall Tokyo and NHK Hall Tokyo.

On the concert platform, Jongmin has appeared at the BBC Proms, at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall; he has performed solo recitals in Munich and Frankfurt, as well as the Musikverein in Vienna and Wigmore Hall.
