Miguel won Portugal’s Prémio Jovens Músicos in 2022 and now regularly works with the Gulbenkian Orchestra, Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto and Orquestra Metropolitana. Last summer saw him conduct Puccini's Suor Angelica and da Silva's Rigor Mortis as part of Operafest Lisboa.

In the United Kingdom Miguel has conducted the BBC Philharmonic, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Manchester Camerata, in addition to assisting Domingo Hindoyan and Vasily Petrenko at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.

    • At 25, Miguel Sepúlveda made his guest conductor debut with the Gulbenkian Orchestra.
