Introduction
Askonas Holt and Opus 3 Artists are delighted to join forces to represent Final Symphony: music from FINAL FANTASY and Final Symphony II: music from FINAL FANTASY. Featuring sweeping orchestral suites based on the music from FINAL FANTASY V, VI and VII through X and XIII, the official Final Symphony concert experiences have sold out performances around the world.
FINAL FANTASY - developed by SQUARE ENIX - celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022 and is one of the most acclaimed video game franchises of all time, with combined sales totalling more than 185 million copies worldwide.
Featuring the original music composed by Nobuo Uematsu - hailed as “the Beethoven of video game music” by Classic FM - alongside collaborator Masashi Hamauzu, the Final Symphony experience allows fans to immerse themselves entirely in the music, and creates an opportunity to reconnect with the soundscape they know and love.
Created and produced by Thomas Böcker, Final Symphony: music from FINAL FANTASY received its world premiere in 2013 by the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, followed weeks later by the UK premiere with the London Symphony Orchestra, marking the LSO’s first performance of music from video games. Performances have taken place around the world, including with the Tokyo Philharmonic, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Baltimore Symphony, Tampere Philharmonic, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic, and the San Francisco and San Diego symphonies.
Recordings of Final Symphony with the London Symphony Orchestra and Final Symphony II with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic are available on all major streaming platforms and have received millions of streams since their releases. The album reached Number 1 on the iTunes Classical Charts in over ten countries, as well as the top five classical albums on the Billboard charts and the Official UK Charts.

Final Symphony II is another resounding success, contributing to a cross-section of video game music and classical music that is still begging to be further explored. […] The recording and performance is of the high quality that we’ve come to expect from the team, with great clarity for the soloists.
