Adelaide started working in Artists' Management age eight running the box office out of an ice cream carton at her family's house concerts in a small, but expertly packed living room in South Manchester. She then went on to study English literature at University College London, working evenings at the Wigmore Hall, where she enjoyed a live soundtrack of many of the world’s best musicians while doing homework backstage. After working in book publishing in London, she moved to New York in 2005, where she worked as an editor at various publishing houses as well as at the Anglo-American literary magazine GRANTA, before joining Opus 3 Artists in 2010. She now works as a Vice President for Opus 3 Artists New York, and as Associate Director for Askonas Holt in Berlin, where she lives. Adelaide has been studying the piano since she was four years old and was inspired to work as an Artists' Manager after attending a concert of Beethoven's Hammerklavier in New York, and finding that she comprised fifty per cent of the audience.
